Hemp Seed Oil

Hemp Seed Oil, derived from the seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant (it contains no THC) is a versatile carrier oil renowned for its hydrating and moisturising properties without clogging the pores. It also aids in balancing out oily skin, regulating the skin’s oil production and prevents dryness, which in turn can cause acne. Rich in essential Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids and a perfectly balanced combination of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are readily absorbed into the skin, it can be used to provide relief from minor abrasions, eczema and psoriasis too.

What to use it for:

Used on its own or as a carrier oil it is a great moisturiser, which can be combined with essential oils as a massage oil or face serum and it can be added to DIY creams, soaps, lotions and lip balms.
